On December 1st a new sixty foot long connector trail was completed, providing access from Mascoma Street to the first mile of Mascoma River Greenway. Thanks to many volunteers, Hess Property Management, Lebanon Landfill, Lebanon Dept. of Public Works, National Park Service - Rivers and Trails Program, and the Mascoma River Greenway Partners for all your helpful efforts with the connector.
The trail is a bit snowy right now but walkable without snowshoes from the Slayton Hill Rd. intersection at Mascoma St. to High Street. Give it a try!
Work has begun on a one mile section of the Greenway that will go from the Mascoma/Mechanic/High Street intersection to the Slayton Hill Road intersection. Please stay tuned for some volunteer work day opportunities in the coming weeks. We hope to have the section of trail open before the snow flies!
