On Friday October 30th, 120 children plus adults celebrated National Walk this Way with an early morning walk to Mount Lebanon School. Students who don't normally have the opportunity to walk to school, were dropped off by parents and Lebanon School buses at three central West Lebanon locations so that they could join this healthy activity. Thursday, October 1st was a busy night at Mount Lebanon School as it opened it's doors to Students, Parents and Family members of the K - 4th grades. Individual classrooms were open for tours and highlighted the work and projects the students have accomplished to date. It was wonderful to see so many families out supporting the learning of their children.

On September 2, Hanover Street School PE teacher, Nancy Wright began what will be a year long bike trip that will take her around the perimeter of the United States. While biking the 11,000 miles she will be taking breaks along the way to visit with school children to talk about her trip and biking safety. Follow her progress on her website.
