Upper Valley Trails Alliance’s Passport to Winter Fun is an exciting program that encourages children and their families to get outside for winter fun. From sledding to snowshoeing, there are so many ways to explore winter's wonderland!
Participating Upper Valley elementary schools work with the Trails Alliance to distribute Passports to children in their schools, and kids and parents do the rest! For every 60 total minutes or more a child is active in a day, s/he fills in one box, and becomes one step closer to earning fun and exciting incentive prizes, like free ski or skate passes for the whole family! Children who make it all the way to day 30 earn up to incentive prizes, get a special Polar Bear Achiever prize, and are entered into the Grand Prize Raffle.
The Passport also offers incentives for parents to be active with their child. If a parent participates for at least 20 of the 30 days, the child will also be entered into the fabulous Family Star Raffle. Help your child on the journey to Winter Fun! Sign up on the UVTA website at
www.uvtrails.org and UVTA will let you know about special Passport to Winter Fun events and important dates.
Upper Valley HEAL endorses the Passport to Winter Fun as an excellent way to Get Out! and Be Active! During our long winter.
